AEON provides COVID testing support for University of Maryland
EON developed a model for COVID PCR testing in August 2020 that was adopted by the University of Maryland System.
AEON provided project management, logistics, and materials to perform COVID PCR testing for up to 600 students per day.
AEON provided phlebotomists, nurses, and administrative staff to administer the program.
AEON registered the students, developed consent forms, performed specimen collection, transported samples, and reported results.
99% of all tests were reported within 24 hours, with most tests reported the same day, which allowed for quarantine and contact tracing in near real-time from sample collection.
